We were upgraded to a King room which was fantastic. Bed was super comfortable. Room was modern, spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Ditto the bathroom. Breakfast was great - a generous buffet with proper coffee. This is one of the nicest motels I have stayed in and was very reasonably priced.
I stayed for a business trip and booked into one for the newly renovated rooms. The room was large, bed comfy and linen crisp and good quality. The bathroom was also big and well renovated. The room (21) was quiet and the air conditioner worked a treat keeping the room nice and cool during the hot two days I was there. Very good location in town. Breakfast was included but I didn't have any so can not comment there. Service was excellent. Great place to stay.
Lovely quiet room that was much bigger than we expected. Excellent location close to the lake and the pub. We were given the nicest welcome we had at any motel on our entire trip. Facilities in the room were above and beyond the budget price we paid. Highly recommend!!!

We started with a wonderful welcome, and an upgrade to a King room, which after a long day of driving was excellent. The room was a good size and very nicely furnished. Everything was clean with a modern feel and a lovely balcony to enjoy a cold drink. I would highly recommend the Matador Motel and look forward to returning in the near future.
