This place is worth visiting on a regular basis, as there is always something to discover
I was only there for a brief visit while waiting for a friend to get into town, but it's real good
Some great artworks here and an ok cafe if you need somewhere to stop for an hour or so.

We're so glad we stopped in to the Gippsland Art Gallery driving through Sale on a road trip! This gallery is of such a high standard that it's on par with that in any big city. What an unexpected treasure filled with fascinating and unique masterpieces. The spacial qualities, colour and material palette as well as the layout is all wonderfully thought out in tune with the mindset of the various user groups. The visitor information area, library, quiet reading and sitting areas and gift shop as well as the cafe (with a fantastic view over the Port of Sale Historic Precinct) are all exceptional. We highly recommend stopping in even if you're just passing through like us - it's well worth a visit!
